Gela Nash-Taylor is a pioneer of what is now recognized as the California cool style. She co-founded Juicy Couture in 1997, creating a global fashion empire and phenomenon. After selling Juicy Couture to Liz Claiborne, Gela went on to launch Pam & Gela (formerly Skaist-Taylor) in 2012. A serial entrepreneur and brand innovator, Gela recognized a need in the marketplace, this time in cannabis, and is drawing from her vast knowledge and experience to create not just a quality product, but an aspirational lifestyle. Gela is a long-time cannabis user, and by partnering with her son on POTENT GOODS, hopes to destigmatize the casual use of cannabis.
TRAVIS NASH, CO-FOUNDER, POTENT GOODS
Travis Nash was born and raised in Hollywood, California, where he developed an early appreciation for art and music. He moved to New York for college and attended New York University to pursue a degree in Fine Arts. He stayed in New York for 11 years, working as a video game artist, a graphic designer, and an illustrator. His return to Los Angeles coincided with the legalization of cannabis in California, and sparked his interest in creating a new brand that fulfilled an unmet need in the market. POTENT GOODS is a family affair that allows Travis to develop a high-quality product that draws from his art background and extensive knowledge of cannabis.
